According to industry and national standards, gas detection applications in the petrochemical industry are mainly focused on the following areas:
a. Oil pump rooms, metering rooms, oily wastewater pump rooms, valve compartment rooms, and dehydrator operation rooms above the crude oil transfer stations;
b. Compressor rooms, metering rooms, valve compartment rooms, and pig launching
& receiving rooms for natural gas transmission;
c. Compressor rooms, metering rooms, valve compartment rooms, pig launching & receiving rooms, storage tank areas, and loading/unloading facilities in light hydrocarbon systems;
d. Pump rooms, metering rooms, valve compartment rooms, storage tank areas, and loading/unloading facilities for condensate and gasoline;
e. Liquefied petroleum gas pump rooms, bottling (filling) rooms,metering rooms,
cylinder stores, and storage tank areas.
